About the hotel
Traditional Counrty Inn located 6 miles southeast of Ayr town centre, just off the A77. 10 minutes from Ayr 'There are no strangers here only friends who have never met!' Maximum enjoyment with minimum effort.
For 100 years this picturesque Inn has provided Scottish hospitality. June Cameron and her friendly team continue to promote the Inn's motto, 'There are no strangers here only friends who have never met!' and it is hard to find an establishment where you can feel so easily at home.
An excellent restaurant and because all dishes are prepared to order, special diets are easily catered for.
Wonderful cuisine pleasantly served, a Malt Room with a good selection of whiskies and an impressive range of both hotel and self-catering accommodation, just put the car in the car park and unwind.
In the country, yet Ayr's racecourse, golf courses and superb fishing are on the doorstep. Staying here allows you maximum enjoyment with minimum effort.

The horse brasses on the beamed ceiling, reflecting the flames from the open fire. Local produce prepared to the highest standard, enjoyed in a comfortable, casual atmosphere.

- Blairquhan Castle (16 km) - A lived in castle which is home to Mr Hunter-Blair. Arrangments can be made for small groups to go for morning coffee and veiw th castle and the wonderful gardens and grounds.
- Culzean Castle (16 km) - Magnificent castle built high on the cliffs beside the sea. The grounds are walks are quite breathtaking even in winter.

Just off the A77, southeast of AYR. Follow the sign post for The Kirkton Inn and Dalrymple - B7034. At the T-junction, the front door of the Kirkton is opposite. The car park is to the left at the rear of the Inn.
